STITES, TAMMY, nee Chong Suk Pae, of South Dennis, NJ, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 1, 2015. She was 66. Tammy was born in South Korea where she met her late husband, US Army Vet SSgt John P. Stites. They married in 1969 and would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary this year. Tammy was an avid gardener and landscaper. Together with John, she owned Stites Farm and Nursery for over thirty years. She also worked for the Arc of Cape May Fidler Group Home and always looked forward to seeing “her boys” that she cared dearly for. She was passionate about helping people and very straightforward in speech, as she could always be counted on to tell people the truth as she saw it. Tammy was also preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Bobbie Soon Stites; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara A. Turnier and Sandra Stites. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Jean and her companion, Stephen Ruckno; sister-in-law Jacqueline Stites; brother-in-law Walter Turnier; and nieces Linda, Pam and Karen. A gathering will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, followed by a time of sharing at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at First Baptist Cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ.
