STITES, JANE E., 92, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Collinsville, OH, the eldest of eleven children to Walter and Johanna (Schuck) Truster, she moved here in 1939 from Philadelphia, PA. Mrs. Stites was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cape May Court House, where she served in the Ladies Missionary Society. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Keystone Chapter 69 Linwood, the Cape May County Historical and Genealogical Society, and the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum. She enjoyed baking and cooking and was a long term square dancer. She loved spending the day on the beach with her family in the summer. Mrs. Stites is survived by her daughter, Sue Ann (Carl) Conrad of Goshen; her son, Edwin F. (Sandra L.) Stites, Jr. of Cape May Court House; her special daughter, Lea Wescott; her three grandchildren, Kimberly Sadler, Ronald Stites, and Rachel H. Mazari; her six great-grandchildren; her sisters, Connie Buckchetsky of Eldora and Jacquelyn Sperl of Medford Lakes; her brother, Walter Truster of Texas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin F. Stites, Sr. on August 2, 1999. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Baptist Cemetery, Church Street, Cape May Court House.
