Walter C. Stielau Sr. of Avalon Manor and previously of Medford Lakes passed away surrounded by his family on March 31, 2021. He was 77. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Janet, his children; Walt Stielau, Jr. (Kristina), Jill McLaughlin (Dennie) and Dave Stielau (Megan). Grandfather to Kylie McLaughlin, Gavyn Willson, Ava Stielau, Cade McLaughlin, Owen Stielau, Alexandra Stielau, Cale Stielau and Bradey Stielau. He was past president of the Jaycees and headed up Walk for Mankind. He enjoyed coaching many soccer and baseball teams. After 40 years, he retired from Sears to enjoy his favorite hobbies, fishing and golfing. A small private family gathering will be held to celebrate his life.
