STANBACH, VIOLA “VEE” (CAPACCHIONE), passed away in peace on Mothers’ Day, May 12, 2013 in the presence of her two daughters, Mary Kathryn (Stanbach) Burke and Antoinette (Stanbach) Maciolek. She was the widow of John Stanbach who pre-deceased her in 2003. She was the loving grandmother of Meghan (Glenn Sarsale) Burke, Kathryn Burke, Joshua (Meghan McVeigh) Maciolek, Meredith (Andrew Komorowsky) Maciolek, and Gabriel Maciolek. She was also the great-grandmother of Stella JoAnn Maciolek. Vee was one of five children of Antoinette (Bilotti) Capaccchione and Vito Capacchione. She is survived by her sister Filomena Raucci, and joins hers sisters, Mary Sabatino and Delia Whitley, and her brother Dominick, in eternal life. She especially adored her many loving nieces and nephews who remained devoted to her and to her husband, John, throughout their lives. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Notre Dame de Namour Church (formerly St. Ann’s Church) in Wildwood, N.J. at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday preceded by visitation with the family at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Vee Stanbach’s name to the Cabrini College Class of 1969 scholarship fund where her two daughters and grandson attended. Masses are also appreciated.
