STALNECKER, GEORGE FREDERICK George Frederick Stalnecker, 50, died Saturday, February 18, 2017 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Pomona, New Jersey. He leaves his wife of 16 years, Joan (Hueter) Stalnecker; mother, Joan Groll; father Stewart Stalnecker; step-mother Shirley Stalnecker; brother Dirk Stalnecker (Emily Stengel); sister Gretchen Stalnecker (Jeff Edlund); nephews Sam and Nicklas; niece Maggie; and many close friends. Born February 12, 1967 in Camden, New Jersey and raised in Medford, spending summers at the shore in Barnegat Light. He attended Burlington County College and graduated with an Associates degree in Liberal Arts. He met his wife, Joan Hueter in Mount Holly through mutual friends. After earning the honor of Eagle Scout, George had the opportunity to work with the Medford EMS squad and made a career of helping others through his work as a Home Health Aide. An avid boater, he enjoyed being on the water fishing and water skiing, and in it, clamming and scuba diving. George loved the outdoors and enjoyed the beach, the surf, and the sun.A kind and generous spirit with a huge heart, he will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lighthouse Church in Cape May Court House, February 24 at 11am.
