ST. JOHN, SANDRA P., 73, of Avalon passed away on Thursday, July11, 2013. She was born to Francis and Virginia Ditzler and grew up in her familys restaurant business, Virginia Lou. She later worked as a Lab Technician for A.C. Medical Center, for Dr. Rudy Garcia in Avalon, and for Cape May County as a Judiciary Court Aide before retiring in 2009. In retirement she enjoyed spending time with her husband Arthur, sleepovers with the grandchildren, and her dogs, Pepper, Sandy, and Gem. She liked swimming, shopping, and laughing. If Sandy was around, you had a smile on your face. Sandra is survived by her children: Theresa (Harry) Fesler of North Wildwood and Charles Wenderwicz of Avalon; grandchildren Harry and HollyAnna Fesler; as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands Charles Wenderwicz and Arthur St. John. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Brendan The Navigator, Maris Stella Church, 50th St. & Dune Drive, Avalon, NJ 08202.
