John R. Sneathen, 62, of Green Creek, NJ left this world for his heavenly home January 23, 2022. John with the big blue eyes never wanted attention on himself but was always ready to help those who needed him. He was employed by Coastal Landscaping as a mechanic where he was known as “McGuyver” for his ability to fix just about anything. At home he spent time tinkering with a 1950’s tractor that was always challenging him. John had an extraordinary gentle kindness towards animals, especially his beloved chihuahua Lassie. He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Marion Sneathen and sister Harriet.John is survived by his siblings: Claude, Billy, Lottie, Dixie, LeRoy, Fred, and Melissa; and many nieces and nephews – a big family that he adored.
