SMITH, JR., LYNWOOD C., 69, of Rio Grande, NJ passed away on Jaunary 13, 2014. He was born in Pleasantville, NJ to the late Lynwood and Mabel Smith, Sr., and grew up in Ocean City and Somers Point, NJ. After serving in the US Navy, Lyn was a successful local business owner, most notably Lyn’s Deli and Captain Jack’s Seafood, both in Cape May Court House. He was a sponsor and coach of little league baseball and a former mayoral candidate for Middle Township. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline (formerly Cratin); his children Scott Smith and his wife Theresa of Bridgewater, NJ, Sean Smith and his wife Lara of Raleigh, NC, and Sharon Brodzinski and her husband Edward of Burlington Twp., NJ; brothers Mark Smith and L.B. Smith; sisters: Linda Conn, Carol Cottrell, and Stephanie Bordenaro; and grandchildren: Meghan and Erin Smith of Bridgewater, NJ Caden and Landon Smith of Raleigh, NC, and Andrew and Eric Brodzinski of Burlington Twp, NJ. Viewing will be on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 and on Saturday, January 18th from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
