SMITH, BARBARA F., 75, of Cape May passed away Thursday, February 6, 2014. Born in Philadelphia to John and Rose Lare, she moved to the area in 1954. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Barbara is survived by her husband of 56 years, William W. Smith; her children, Rose Ann (John) Loria, Vivian Komar (Doug), James Dempsey, Barbara Ann (Scott) Groves, and David (Brittany) Smith; brother, Frank Schmidt; and sisters, Mary Ann Layton and Laura Kelly; and grandchildren, Kristin, Kevin, Ryan, Eric, Brian, Kyle, Sean, Ryan John, Mellisa, Monica, James Jr., and Lauren. A Memorial Service will be on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment is private.
