SIMON, GERALDINE G., 91, of Stone Harbor and Ocean City, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at The Shores at Wesley Manor. She was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Harry and Dorothy (Craven) Greeves. A devout Christian, she was a member of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Sewing Circle. She was also a member of the Stone Harbor Garden Club. Mrs. Simon enjoyed traveling and quilting, winning many quilting contests and making one for everyone in her family. A great volunteer, she volunteered at The Shores at Wesley Manor as well as the food cupboard and clothes cupboard in Ocean City. She attended Drexel University as a Home Ec major. Her family enjoyed many of her delicious meals. Mrs. Simon is survived by her daughter, Judith King; her three sons, Roger (Robbin) Simon, Warren (Cyndy) Simon, and Kenneth (Beth) Simon; her ten grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery.
