SEEGER, THOMAS W. (Snack-time), age 58, of North Cape May left for his final ride Friday, September 13, 2013. He was a lifelong Cape May area resident. Tom was preceded in death by his father George J Seeger, Jr., his mother Doris M Seeger, and his brother George J Seeger III. He leaves behind his wife of 38 years Delores (Dolly); daughter Jennifer (her best friend Christopher Jones who Tom thought of as a son); best friend and riding buddy Rick Brown; sister Patricia (Walter) Yerkes of Rogersville, TN; and his dogs Heidi & Mo-Jo. He will be sadly missed by his co-workers at Ballys Park Place Casino where Tom worked in General Maintenance. He was previously employed by the Claridge Casino Hotel. Tom volunteered for the Vietnam Veterans Association on bingo nights where he made many friends. He was a member of the Red, White, and Blue Freedom Riders. Tom enjoyed riding for Charity Rides and desert rides year round. He would help anyone at the drop of a hat, never being too busy to lend a hand, a tool, an ear, or advice. He was a great neighbor and a great friend. There will be a funeral service at 5:00 Pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Toms memory to the Vietnam Veterans Association Chapter #602, PO Box 908 North Cape May, NJ 08204.
