SALVATICO, LAURA, 80, of Wildwood, NJ, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Born in Tacuarembo, Uruguay, South America. Dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother (nana), great grandmother, aunt (tia), and friend.
Laura prided herself in her family, and business. She has successfully operated her hotels in Wildwood for over 45 years.
Laura is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Ernesto Salvatico.
CHILDREN; Ernesto Mario Salvatico Jr., Oswald Salvatico, and Stella Maris Salvatico Meyers.
GRANDCHILDREN; Marissa, Robert, Christen, Nicole, Diana, Rocko Jr., Frederick, (daughter in law Katie) Stella, (son in law Matthew) and Melanie.
GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; Jamison, Rocko III, Baylor, Ava, Kaylianna, Briella, Laureana
BROTHER; Aladino Fro
SISTER IN LAW; Maria Celia Fro
And the many loving nieces and nephews.
Laura Salvatico was a person of great strength and courage and admired by many of those in her community. She was so kind and thoughtful. Her values, beliefs, and efforts in her life were nothing short of a hero. She did not believe in quitting, and put everything she had, in everything she did. She is an example of what a true woman is. She has left behind an ever lasting legacy, and will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held at 6pm this Thursday, August 31, 2017 at St. Ann’s Church, 2900 Atlantic Ave, Wildwood, for all of those who would like to pay their respects. Mass will follow at 7pm. Song will be sang at opening and closing.
