RUOF, PAULINE M., age 93, of Cold Spring died Sunday, March 9, 2014 at home Pauline was born in Syracuse, NY, formerly of Lower Makefield, PA. and has resided in the Cape May area since 1998. She had been a operator/clerk for Bell Telephone in Philadelphia for 25 years. Pauline was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She is preceded in death by her first husband John J. Mittnacht Sr. and her son John J. Mittnacht Jr. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Richard H. Ruof; a daughter Karen Barnes (Raymond) of Levittown, PA. Pauline also leaves five grandchildren, Christine O’Brien (Bill), Meghan Haggerty (Sean), Heather Haggerman (Tom), Robin Hopper (Brian) and Bonnie Hay; and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM on Thursday March 13, 2014 at St. John Neumann Parish, St. Raymond Church, Bayshore Rd. and Ocean Ave, Villas, NJ.08251. Relatives and friends may call from 10 to 11 am at the church. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery in Cold Spring, NJ.
