ROGERS, LOIS CONLEY, 89, of Wildwood Crest, NJ passed peacefully while surrounded by her family on November 10, 2015. Lois was born in Wicomico Church, Va to James Gilliam and Emily Delano Conley. She married Maurice Lee Rogers in 1945 and they lived in Reedville, Va. She was a member of the Reedville United Methodist Church and sang in the choir. They moved to Wildwood Crest in March 1959 where she worked as a gift shop manager in several locations. She was a member of the Wildwood Crest Ambulance Corp Auxiliary. As a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Wildwood Crest, Lois sang in the choir and was Chairperson of the Worship Committee, among other duties. She was a current member of the First Baptist Church of Wildwood where she attended services and participated in the ladies’ quilting and crocheting group. Predeceased by her husband, Maurice Lee, Lois is survived by her sister, Virginia Kelly, of Kilmarnock, Va; her brother, J.P. Conley, of Remo, Va; and sister, Anne Bromley, of Morattico, Va. She is also survived by her son, William L. Rogers, and his wife, Deborah, of Wildwood Crest; and her daughter, Judith A. Wray, and her husband, William J., of Estell Manor, NJ; her granddaughter, Teal-Rebecca Robinson, and her husband, Derek, of Cape May Court House; her great-granddaughters, Estella Grayce and Catherine Jayde; her grandson, Dylan Rogers, and his wife, Kim, of Cape May Court House; her great-grandson, Andrew; her granddaughter, Emily Zacharcyk, and her husband, Benjamin, of Boothwyn, Pa; and her grandson, W. Jeremy Wray, of Mays Landing, NJ; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Lois will be remembered for her love of family and music. She had a passion for cooking and baking, and often shared at church events and with others who were sick or in need. Services will be held on Saturday, November 14 at the First Baptist Church of Wildwood, 230 E. Maple Ave. There will be a calling hour from 10 to 11 am, with funeral service at 11. Interment will be at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Road, Cape May, following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Wildwood or the American Heart Association.
TIPPING, ELIZABETH O. Elizabeth O. Tipping passed away on December 10, 2024. Beth was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph V. Tipping, Jr. in 2022, and is survived by her faithful companion, “Murphy.” She was a graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School in Philadelphia and Penn State in
