ROBINSON, WILLIAM J., 72, of Villas passed away peacefully Sunday, November 17, 2013 at his home. William was born January 25, 1941 in Norristown, PA. He lived in Jeffersonville, PA; summered here since 2002; and became a full time Cape May area resident in 2006. William is the son of the late William J. Robinson Sr. and the late Mary (DeSante) Robinson. He was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School and received an Associate Degree from Ursinus College. William was a grocery store manager and later a Teacher’s Assistant for Special Education Students at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. He was a Catholic by faith and attended Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church and also St John Neumann Parish. William was a member of TOPS, the Cape May VFW, and the Cape May Traditional Jazz Society. He loved all animals, but especially dogs. He leaves behind his beloved boxers, Argus, Roosevelt, Johnnie, & Joey Jo Jo Shabadoo. Another of his ten year old puppies (Bubba Lightning) passed away last August and is with him now in his new life. He also enjoyed feeding and watching the birds around his back yard. William is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jane (Duffy) Robinson of Villas; his daughter, Jennifer (Craig) Genovese of Phoenixville, PA; his son, William III (Gwen Flounders) of Phoenixville, PA; his son, James (Colleen Todd) of Louisville, CO; and his son, Jeffrey of Norristown, PA. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Brenna, Angeli, Caitlyn, Lyndsey, and Seamus. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church, Washington St, Cape May, NJ; where friends will be received from 10:30 to 11:00 AM.
