REIDY, JAMES LEO SR., 90, of Dennis Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Jersey City, NJ to the late John and Ann Leacraft Reidy, he moved here in 1985 from Fair Lawn, NJ. He was formerly employed at Continental Can in Jersey City. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Reidy volunteered at Holy Redeemer Food Bank for 20 years. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Sea Isle City, where he served on the altar and as a Eucharistic Minister. Mr. Reidy is survived by his children, Lillian (Kenneth) Collins, James (Carol) Reidy, William Reidy, Dennis (Anna) Reidy, Mary (Thomas) Del Casale, and Patrick (Agatha) Reidy; his sisters, Margaret and Vivian; his 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian V. Reidy in 2008. Funeral Mass will be said on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 4308 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ.
