RAGO, FRANK

RAGO, FRANK, age 107, of Fishing Creek passed away peacefully Friday, November 6, 2015 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Frank was born January 3, 1908 in Philadelphia, PA; and has been a Cape May area resident since the early 1970’s. He is the son of the late Dominic and the late Philomena (nee Falco) Rago. Frank was employed by Keystone Slipper Co, Philadelphia, PA as a Designer. He was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus and a member of the Msgr. Moorney Assembly 671 of Wildwood and a Third Degree Member of the Stella Maris K of C Council 3546 of Erma. Frank was predeceased by his wife of 80 years, Laura Mae (nee Sweeney) Rago on 11/26/2006. He is survived by his two daughters: Doris (Ray) Rago of Fishing Creek, NJ; & Irene M Link. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren: Irene Smith & Andrea (Butch) Bumgardner; 5 great grandchildren: Timothy (Rachel) Smith, Andrew Smith, Michael (Wendy) Smith, Bryan Smith, & Jodi (Ethan) Causey; and 2 great-great grandchildren: Jessica Smith & Mikey Smith. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St Raymond’s RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ 08251; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
