RAFF, JUNE O., age 87, of Erma, NJ went home to spend eternity with her Savior Saturday evening, December 10, 2016 while sleeping. June was born March 12, 1929 in Hobart, NY to Edward and Lela (Fancher) Oakley. On January 30, 1957 she married the love of her life, Edgar W Raff, Sr. She was a founding member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Erma. June enjoyed crocheting, knitting, painting and doing her word search. She was faithful in reading her Bible several times a day. June is survived by her children: Judy Gillis, Sharon Palmer (Keen) and Edgar W Raff, Jr. (Marion) and her grandchildren: Edgar W Raff, III, Daniel Raff, Rebecca Carlin, David Raff, Beth Chace and Carolynn Hollenbach. Also surviving are 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar in 2009, her parents, her daughter Catherine McDonald in 2014, her son-in-law Robert Gillis in 2016, and great grandson Dylan Carlin in 2007. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Pilgrim Holiness Church, 616 Shunpike Rd, Erma, NJ; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cold Spring Presbyterian Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204.
