QUINTANA, SHANNON L. (Murray), 38, of Woodbine, New Jersey, peacefully entered eternal rest on August 21, 2017. She passed on while sleeping. Shannon was born on February 13,1979 in Cape May Court House to the late Leon Murray and Elizabeth Murray. Shannon attended Woodbine Elementary School and graduated from Millville High School. Shannon continued her education and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Shannon worked at Woodbine Developmental Center for many years and more recently at Autumn Lake Nursing Home until her health started to decline.
Shannon was always a social butterfly. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. Shannon leaves behind to cherish her memories: her mother Elizabeth Murray of Woodbine, her son Mikal T. Wright, father of her children Allahdjinn Wright of Bridgeton NJ. She was predeceased by her father Leon Murray, an infant son Allahdjinn Wright III (AJ), and a brother Glen Murray. Also, left behind are maternal siblings Linda Dent, Natalie Watkins (Fred) of Woodbine, Millie Surrency (Gary) of Jacksonville Fl., Angela Gill of Vineland, Kimberly Jones (Larry) of Millville NJ. Paternal siblings include Calvin Murray of Ohio, Donna Colvin (Phillip) of Millville, Jeffrey Murray (Damaris) of Woodbine, and Gerald Murray (Donata). And a special Aunt Evelyn Coleman, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at The Soar Church, 1324 DeHirsch Avenue, Woodbine, New Jersey 08270. Viewing will take place at 10:00 a.m. and service begins and home going celebration begins promptly at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2017.
