PRETTYMAN, ROBERT C. SR.

PRETTYMAN, ROBERT C. SR., 61, of Woodbine, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Cape May Court House, NJ to the late William Norman and Grace May Burrell Prettyman, he was a lifetime resident of Cape May County. A land surveyor, he was the owner/operator of Robert C. Prettyman PLS, PA. Prior to opening his business, he worked for John C. Gibson Associates in Sea Isle City for 25 years.Bob, or Poppy as he was affectionately known by his family, was a member of the Briar Patch Gun Club and the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors. He enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and hunting in Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. His greatest love was the time he spent with his family. He was a proud father and grandfather.Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Barbara Kruck Prettyman; his children, Robert (Rose) Prettyman, Jr. and Monica (Brian) Prettyman Fanelli; his six grandchildren, Lauren, Ryan, Julie, Stevie, Marissa, and Dalton; his brother, Neal (Patty) Evans; his sisters, Kathryn (Dan) Jeffries, Helen OHara, and Sue (Dan) Shainline; his mother in law, Edith Kruck Anderson; his brother in law, Michael Kruck; and his nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, South Dennis.
