POTTS, MARY B., age 86, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Monday, January 4, 2016. Mary was born in Eagle Pass, TX on November 17, 1929. Mary worked as a waitress for many years in both Quakertown, PA and Cape May, NJ; where she met some great people and made lifelong friends. She moved from Quakertown, PA to Cape May for the warmer weather where she enjoyed walks along the bay, meeting friends for a drink and hosting a slew of family and friends for summertime beach visits and dinner at The Lobster House. Mary was also a wonderful cook. Family favorites were her homemade enchiladas or tamales. She was a wonderful Mother to her five sons, who along with her grandchildren were her absolute pride and joy. Mary Potts is survived by three sons: Robert & Rita Potts, Thomas & Pam McNesby, and James & Sheila. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Jason Tamburino & Lauren, Rachel Potts & Shayna Thompson, and Mary McNesby; and her great-grandchildren: Daniel, Kendall, Kalista, & Kianna. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband William Potts and sons Daniel Potts & William Potts, Jr. Funeral service s will be held privately with burial at Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA. CURRAN RICHARD J. (Rip) 1944-2024 Richard J. Curran, 80, of Wildwood Crest, N.J., passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024. Born in Somers Point, N.J., he was a local resident for 80 years.
