POOLE, ROBERT HENRY, age 89, of North Cape May died Monday, May 8, 2017 at North Cape Center of North Cape May, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, he resided there for many years before moving to this area 15 years ago. Mr. Poole worked as a meat cutter with A & P Tea Company and also with a printing company in Philadelphia. He was also an employee with Acme Markets in North Cape May for seven years. He served his country during World War II in the US Navy as a Seabee. Robert was a past commander of American Legion Post 738 in the Juniata section of Philadelphia. He is the husband of the late Nona (Yearwood) Poole who passed away in 1964. Surviving are his children Robert A (Sandi), Kathy Poehler (Butch), William (Louise), James Poole, Thomas (Darla) Poole, Donald (Ann), Richard (Stephanie), Timothy (Meredith), Seventeen grandchildren and Twenty-One great grandchildren. Funeral Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Beverly National Cemetery.
