PODSON, THEODORE J. (“TJ”), 97, of Erma, passed away with family present Sat., November 28, 2015 at North Cape Center. TJ was born October 5, 1918 in Phila., PA. Hes the son of the late Joseph & Mary Podson. He served in the US Army (Sergeant First Class) during World War II and received a Bronze Star from the battle of Okinawa, Japan. He worked at the Cape May Lighthouse, Kmart and Shop Rite, along with being a member of the CM Shade Tree Commission. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine & sister Eleanor Rieger. TJ is survived by three sons: Theodore E. Podson, Joseph (Kristen) J. Podson, & John J. Podson; one daughter: Deborah (Jeff) Hodgson. He also leaves four grandchildren: Katie & Dylan Podson, Jeffrey Jr & Victoria Hodgson; and loving companion, Geraldine Benjes. A memorial service and the burial will be held at a later date, in the Spring of 2016 with an announcement on Evoy Funeral Homes web site.
