PIVINSKI, CHESTER B.

PIVINSKI, CHESTER B., 72 – of Rio Grande, NJ passed away December 23, 2016. He was born in Passaic, NJ to the late Chester and Bernadine Pivinski. Chet and his family moved to Cape May County in 1986 after living in Toms River and Houston, TX. Chet worked as an optician for The Optical Room and Pearle Vision in Rio Grande. He loved fishing and was a joy to be around for both his wisdom and sarcastic sense of humor. Chet is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cathie (formerly Anello); daughter Lisa Pivinski and her husband Jason Adamson; sisters Fran Kobernick and Rose Bezares; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Rosemary Pivinski in 2008. Viewing and Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Interment is private. Donations may be made in Chet’s name to the Middle Twp. Rescue Squad, PO Box 331, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 and Rio Grande Rescue Squad, PO Box 406, Rio Grande, NJ 08242.
