PIERCE, TODD R., 62, of Cape May County, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 12, 2013. Todd was born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA. In 1973 he moved to NJ where he started his career in Law Enforcement. He retired in 2000 as the Commander of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force. Todd then worked at Lower Cape May Regional School District where he was a One on One Support Aid, the coach of Teitelman boys Soccer, and the coach of the JV Baseball team for LCMR. Todd also bartended at the Villas Fishing Club. He enjoyed the beach, his F2 crew, Baseball and Football, but most of all just being with friends and family (especially getting the kids wound for sound before sending them home.) Todd was predeceased by daughter Jamie Grace (1982). He is survived by his wife Mary nee O’Donnell, his daughters Christina (Carlos) Covarrubias, Patricia (Sean) Brannon, and Katelyn Pierce: grandchildren, Emma (8) and Alex (3) Covarrubias, Mikayla (10), Sean (7), Liam (5), and Payton (1) Brannon. He is also survived by his parents, Robert and Gale Pierce of Weaverville, CA, brother, Gary (Sandi) Pierce of Carpinteria, CA and 15 nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Friday, May 24, 2013 from 10am to 1 pm at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, NJ 08204. Burial will be private.
