PETERSON, ALFRED JOHN, 87, of Cape May passed away on Thursday October 17, 2013 at the Cape Reg. Medical Center. He was born in Atlantic City and was a life long Atlantic Co. resident. Alfred was a graduate of Atlantic City High School and Rutgers University with a BA in education. He had worked as a auto mechanics instructor at the Atlantic Co Vocational Tech School in Mays Landing and also was a certifier for NATEF with the responsibility of certifying other auto mechanic institutions on the east coast. He is survived by his wife of 35 years: Elizabeth Peterson; a daughter Christine (Steve) Nelson of Cape May and two grandchildren, Stephanie and Brian. Services will be held privately.
