PAYAD, GIL M., 55, of North Cape May passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in the Phillipines, he has been a Cape May area resident since 1988. Gil was a certified nurse’s aide at Crest Haven NH & Victoria Commons. He enjoyed: bowling; watching sports; playing outside with his children; and running on the Delaware Bay beach. Gil is survived by his wife Debra; his son Paul (12); and his son Patrick (10). Also surviving are: his father Guillermo Payad; two brothers: Wilfredo & Raul Payad; three sisters: Florinda Payad, Magdalena P. Manalang, & Medalla P Santos; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Rachel and brother Mayorico. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ: where friends may call from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
