PARSON, MICHAEL, 59, of North Wildwood, NJ passed away at home with Diane by his side on May 10, 2013 following a brief battle with cancer. Born February 28, 1954 in Philadelphia where he lived until moving to North Wildwood in 1971. Mike was a graduate from Wildwood High School in 1972 and has been a local resident for the past 43 years. Mike worked for the city of North Wildwood and was an avid fisherman. Those that knew Mike found a life long friend in him. He was the guy at any event with a beer in his hand, a smile on his face, and talking about the latest fishing adventure. Mike is survived by his soul mate: Diane, children: Chris (Christina) and Lisa (Rick), Grand children: Christopher, Tim, Rachael, Novian, Jacob and Eden, great granddaughter: Adriana, mother: Jane, and brothers: Joe (Linda), Tom (Terry), Tony (Pat), Jim (Linda), Chris, Bill (Jane), and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his father: Joseph Parson in Oct of 1983 Services are Friday, May 17, 2013 at Notre Dame de la Parish at Assumption Church 7100 Seaview Avenue Wildwood Crest. Friends may call from 9:00am-10:45am. Mass will follow at 11:00am. Attire is casual as Mike specifically requested.
