OUNSWORTH, ELIZABETH M.

OUNSWORTH, ELIZABETH M., 71, of Stone Harbor, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at her home. Born in Philadelphia to the late James and Mary Walsh, she moved here in 2006 from East Norriton, PA. She was a member of St. Brendan the Navigator Parish St. Pauls Church as well as the East Norriton Womens Club and the Stone Harbor Garden Club. Mrs. Ounsworth enjoyed playing golf, Mahjong, crafts, and fishing with her husband, John. When her children were younger, she was a JV basketball coach and a Cub Scout Den Mother. She also liked to travel with her husband. Mrs. Ounsworth is survived by her husband of 50 years, John; her children, John Ounsworth, Elizabeth Ann Margerison, James Ounsworth, and Kathleen McDonough; her brothers, Martin Walsh and James Walsh; her seven grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah, Luke, Zachary, Lauren, Rileigh, and Dylan; and her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerome. Memorial Mass will be said on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brendan the Navigator Parish St. Pauls Church, 99th Street and Third Avenue, Stone Harbor, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial of her cremated remains will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Cold Spring.
