ORT, WILLIAM CURTIS (Bill

ORT, WILLIAM CURTIS (Bill), 89, of North Cape May, NJ passed away on August 9, 2017. Bill was born in Buffalo, NY on June 26, 1928. He was married to Phyllis Belcher on May 25, 1950, they were married 67 years. Bill worked for New York Bell Telephone Company for 38 years. He enjoyed Boy Scouts, was an Eagle Scout, Boy’s Brigade, & men’s church league & Bell Tel softball. He was actively involved in the Depew, NY, Erma and Town Bank, NJ Fire Companies. Bill is survived by his wife, Phyllis Belcher Ort, his children Deborah Ort, Darlene Axelsson (Lars) & William Allan Ort, his grandchildren: Lisa Migliaccio (Craig), Annika Tostevin (Guy), Stefan Axelsson (Melissa), Erika Borjesson (Petter), David Axelsson (Kalin), Lukas Axelsson, & Kajsa Axelsson; his great-grandchildren: Lina Tostevin, Maika Migliaccio, Madelynne Axelsson, Kirsten Tostevin, Seth Migliaccio, Egon Borjesson & Everett Axelsson and his niece Jackie Ort. The funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 16th at 11 am at the Town Bank Fire Hall. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 am at the Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Town Bank Fire Department, 224 Town Bank Road, North Cape May, NJ 08204 or to Handi Vangelism Ministries International, PO Box 122 Akron, PA 17501-0122. The family of William Ort wishes to thank North Cape Center for the care and compassion they showed our family these past couple of weeks, to the firemen who were always a part of Bill’s life, to our church families and to God for his faithfulness.
