OLIVER, JOHN R.

John R. Oliver, 86, of Goshen, NJ passed away January 10, 2020. He was born in North Wildwood and would later serve in the US Navy during the Korean War. John worked as a Lineman for Union Local 351 where he was a member for 50 years. John was also a member of Goshen Methodist Church and then Immanuel Baptist Church where he led a ‘Daily Bread’ Ministry. John volunteered for the Goshen Fire Department and was a member of American Legion Post 198, Moose Lodge of Wildwood, and the Wildwood Fishing Club.John is survived by his wife of 63 years, Irene (formerly Stackhouse). He was predeceased by his son John in 2012.Funeral services will be Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Viewing will be from 11 to 12 noon. Service will begin at 12 noon. Interment will be at Goshen Methodist Cemetery. Condolences at www.radzieta.com
