WEBER, JOHN PAUL
After a long battle with cancer, John Paul Weber, of Myrtle Beach and Cape May Court House, passed away peacefully at his home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on July 19, 2017. He was 62 years old. The son of the late Rene and Helen Weber, he was born and grew up in Stamford, Connecticut. Mr. Weber attended the University of Rhode Island on a football scholarship where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. He went into the family business and managed the Hy-Land Motor Inn located in Cape May Court House for 10 years. Later John pursued his dream of a teaching career in South Carolina. Teaching and athletics became an important focus of his life. John was also an avid animal lover and will be greatly missed by his canine companion “Willow”. John is survived by his sister, Pamela Humphries, and nieces Natalie Weber, Laila Weber and Jennifer Wolfson. Services will be private.
