Russell E. “Russ” Norcross, Jr., 67 of North Cape May (February 1, 1954 – November 9, 2021), a lifelong resident of Cape May County.An electrician by trade, Russell was former Electric Maintenance Supervisor at Lenox China Pomona for 18 years. There was nothing electrical or mechanical that Russell couldn’t “fix”. Over the years, Russell enjoyed camping with his family, boating (Utsch’s Marina), beekeeping, and photography (Snapshotcapemay.com). He could be seen taking photos from the cab of his truck around Cape May County. He enjoyed meeting new people and sharing life experiences. He was a past member of the Lower Township Rescue Squad and Townbank Volunteer Fire Company.Russell is preceded in death by his parents, Russell Sr. and Joyce Norcross. He will be forever missed by his wife Laurel and children Jennifer Jennings (Paul), Russell Norcross, Ill (Harriet), Robert (Maureen). He was affectionately called “Grumps” by his grandchildren Courtney (Prince), Liam, Hannah, Catherine, Riley, Tyler, and Tanner, as well as two great-grandchildren. Russ is also survived by his caring sister Joy Greenway (Robert) and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Arrangements will be made by Evoy Funeral Home.
