NIXON, HELEN ALICE, 86, of Woodbine, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017. Born in Pennsville, NJ to the late Howard and Alma Bruce Herrmann, she was a longtime area resident who moved back to this area two and a half years ago after retiring to Virginia and Georgia. She was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. While stationed in Okinawa, she met Donald Nixon and they were married in 1952. She was Vice President of Ocean City Home Savings and Loan before her retirement. Mrs. Nixon is survived by her three sons, William (Beverly) Nixon, David Nixon, and Bruce (Sherry) Nixon; her four grandchildren, Shamar, Zachary, Jacob, and Deborah; and three great grandchildren.
