MURRAY, HELEN J., 81, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Born in Jersey City, NJ to the late George and Madeline (Corrado) Barry, she moved here permanently in 1992 from Sayreville. She fell in love with Cape May when her future husband was stationed at the USCG Training Center for boot camp. Helen was a member of Notre Dame de la Mer Parish, St. Ann Church. She was an active member of her church. She served as Eucharistic Minister, a Sunday School teacher for the little kids, and an organizer for the Communion Breakfast and fundraisers for the church. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. Helen formerly worked at Middlesex County College and volunteered at Cape Regional Medical Center and the Middle Township PAC in Cape May Court House. Even though Helen was involved in many activities, her family was the most important. Helen is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dan; her children, Nancy Murray, Janet Murray (Julia), Daniel Murray, Jr. (Mandy), and Thomas Murray (Amy); her brother, Robert Barry; her three granddaughters, Lauren, Kate, and Anna; her great granddaughter, Brooke Van Emburgh; and her nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Mass will be said on Monday, January 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Notre Dame de la Mer Parish, St. Ann Church, 2901 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood, where viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. There will also be a viewing on Sunday, January 1, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House.
