MURPHY, EILEEN ROSE, 71, of Cape May, and formerly of Chester, NY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 30th, 2013. She was born September 15, 1941 in the Bronx, NY to Patrick and Catherine Cawley. Married to Richard Michael Murphy on January 5th, 1962, she stayed at home to raise their three children, Denise, Richie, and Charlie. Eileen loved Disney, Broadway plays, music, and was well known for her hearty laugh. Eileen will be dearly missed by her family which includes her husband of 51 years, Richard; three children and their spouses; Denise and Ric, Richard and Leah, Charlie and Jean; many loving grandchildren; Ric, Brianna, Holly, Richie, Matthew, Charlie, Blake, and Emma; her loving brother, Gerry (and wife, Kitty); and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Eileen touched are invited to remember her on Saturday, May 4th, 2013 at a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. John of God Church, 680 Townbank Road, North Cape May, where a viewing will take place from 10AM to 11AM.
