MUNCEY, HUBERT “GEORGE”, 81, of Cape May, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, October 14, 2013, in the loving arms of his wife and in the comfort of his home. George was a resident of Maple Shade for many years before moving to Williamstown for 25 years and then recently moving to Cape May earlier this year. He loved flashy cars and dressing in the latest fashions. He loved traveling to Hawaii and Alaska with his wife and dear friends. Nobody could dance as well as George. He loved everybody and everybody loved him. He is predeceased by his former wife, Rachel and his sister, Blanche. George will be dearly missed by his loving family which includes his wife, Mary Jane; three children, Linda (and Raymond) Lotierzo, Patsy (and Dave) Noonan and George Muncey; stepchildren, John (and Ann) Black and Melissa (and Colin) Law; his brother, Harry (and Cathy) Muncey; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; also his two cats, Mickey and Murphy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Oct. 19th) at 11AM in the Spilker Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May where there will be a viewing from 10AM – 11AM. Interment will follow in the Cold Spring Cemetery, Lower Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of your choice that would benefit children or animals.
