MOORE, HELEN

Beloved Mother and Grandmother Helen Carr Moore, 82, died Friday, January 28, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital of complications from Alzheimer’s. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen Carr.A long-time resident of Moylan, PA, Helen earned a degree in Accounting from Widener University. Upon retirement from a career with the Internal Revenue Service, Helen moved to Cape May, NJ, where she spent many years bringing her grandchildren to the beach, riding her bike, swimming in the ocean, and traveling the world. She loved the theater, playing cards, and visiting friends and family. She will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, and infectious laugh.Helen is survived by her brother Barney Carr, five children Eileen, Charles (Stacie Golin), Jennifer, Cynthia (Dominick), and Edward (Eileen); four grandchildren Tierna, Daniel, Connor, and Kayla. She was preceded by her husband Charles Thomas Moore, Sr in 2005.A Memorial Luncheon will be held at 1 pm on March 5, 2022 at The Towne House, 117 Veterans Square, Media, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Helen C. Moore.
