MOHLER, FREDERICK L., age 96, of North Cape May passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014. Frederick was born January 30, 1917 in Buffalo, NY; formerly lived in Fredonia, NY (1952 1980); retired to Florida; and has been a Cape May area resident the last four years. He is the son of the late Fred and Helen Mohler. Frederick served his country in the US Army during World War II, where he achieved the rank of Captain. He was a Station Shift Manager for Niagara Mohawk Power Company for over 40 years. He was an avid golfer and bowler. Frederick was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Betty and his sisters: Frances Hartman & Helen Lehner. He is survived by his two sons: Gary (Judy) Mohler of Cape May, NJ, and Rick (Beth Ann) Mohler of Williston, VT. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren: Kelly (Mike), Jason (Krystle), Steve (Melissa), & Lindsay (Andy); and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private.
