MILLS, MARY LEA 89 – of Cape May Court House, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Maitland, MO to the late Clifford and Mary (Rozelle) Summers, she moved here in 1945 from Maitland. An Army Veteran of World War II, she was a Second Lieutenant in the Army Nursing Corps. She was a registered nurse at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital and Director of Nursing at Crest Haven Nursing Home before her retirement. She also taught practical nursing at Cape May County Vo-Tech. Mrs. Mills is survived by her children, Mike Mills of Cape May Court House, Diane DeVico of Cape May Court House, and Mark Mills of Savannah, GA; her six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Mills in 2003. Funeral services will be private.
