METZLER, MARY ELIZABETH, 88, of Sea Isle City, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Arthur and Cecilia McMenamin Gilmore. She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church and the Catholic Daughters in Sea Isle City and of the Little Flower Alumnae Association. She was active in the Red Cross in Sea Isle City.Mrs. Metzler is survived by her sons, Michael (Cathy), Gregg (Irene), Bill (Carmen), and Mark (Coleen); her son in law, Joe Cousin; her brother, Hugh (Mary) Gilmore; her fourteen grandchildren; and her four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Metzler, Jr.; and her daughters, Karen Cousin and Lynne Metzler, and one grandson.Memorial Mass will be said on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 4308 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243, where visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be private.
