McHUGH, JANE “BETTY”, 80, of Cape May, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. She lived in Hillside and then Bernardsville before moving to Cape May in 1990. Betty was an owner of Bantam Stores, a small chain of five and ten retail stores, which were located in Hillside, Warren, Mendham, Chatham and Hillsborough, from 1955 to 1996. Betty cherished her family and friends above all else. Betty was always willing to help a family member, friend, or neighbor in any way she could. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Frank McHugh, and her three children Cindy Ruggiero and Karee Hunt, both of Long Valley, and Robert C. Hassold of Tewksbury. Additionally, she is survived by Frank’s five children Gary McHugh, Cathy Lacko, Donna Myers, Diane Zilly, and Glen McHugh. She is also survived by her siblings Claire Frees and Linda Dammeyer both of Linden, and James Dammeyer. She was so proud of each of their 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and their many additional honorary grandchildren! She always had plenty of love to share and support to give! We will celebrate Betty’s life on Saturday, May 18th at 1:30 pm at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at 182 Main St. Gladstone, NJ. A reception will follow from 3-6pm at Andrea’s Dining Room for food, drink and great Betty Boop stories. TIPPING, ELIZABETH O. Elizabeth O. Tipping passed away on December 10, 2024. Beth was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph V. Tipping, Jr. in 2022, and is survived by her faithful companion, “Murphy.” She was a graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School in Philadelphia and Penn State in
