McGLINN, CHARLES “CHALIE”

CHARLES “CHALIE” McGLINN, 80, of North Cape May and formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on 9/18/2022 in the comfort of his home surrounded by family and friends. He proudly served in the US Army (active and reserves) for 27 years including the Gulf War and many other tours of duty. He participated in the rescue mission after 911. Chalie was an K-9 Officer for the Philadelphia Police Department for 20 years retiring with his partner, Baron, in 1988. He is dearly missed by his wife of 38 years, Pat, four children and seven grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, 09/23 at St. John of God Church and internment with military honors was held at Cold Spring Cemetery Veterans Field of Honor. A man of honor who served selfishly for the needs of others.
