McCONNELL, VIRGINIA ENDY, 82, of Stone Harbor, NJ and Devon, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Born in Cynwyd, PA to the late William Frederic Endy and Kathleen Hogan Endy, she was a member of St. Monica’s Church in Berwyn, PA.
Ginny enjoyed the love and laughter in her life. She loved the beach, gardening, bridge and the time she spent with her grandkids. She had many great times as a member of Waynesborough Country Club, the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor, the Women’s Civic Club of Stone Harbor, the Questers Club, and the Main Line Bridge League.
Ginny is survived by her children, John E. McConnell, Jr. (Mary Anne), Michael J. McConnell (Maribeth), Kathleen M. Hobbis (Thomas), and Molly M. Buell (Bert); her siblings, Terry Pletcher, Daniel G. Endy, Kathleen E. Vistenzo, Wm. Frederic Endy, Jr., and David F. Endy; and her ten grandchildren, Max and Jake McConnell, Ryan and Christopher Bonner, Shane McConnell, Kacy and Julie Hobbis, and Charlie, Johnny and Ginny Buell. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. McConnell.
A Funeral Mass will be said on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brendan the Navigator Parish St. Paul Church, 99th Street and Third Avenue, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Cape May Court House. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Post 331, P.O. Box 232, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247. Condolences at www.radzieta.com
