McATEER, PATRICK J., 71 – Pat was born in Philadelphia on May 16, 1946 and passed away on July 30, 2017 in Rio Grande, NJ. He was predeceased by his mother, Catherine “Cass” nee Campbell and his father, Barney “Harry”; and survived by his wife Linda (Kukla); and his siblings: Barney (Joanne), Timmy (Bunny), Tommy (Maggie), Sally (Bob) Hagy, and Michael; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will surely miss him. He was loved by everyone he met.
An avid fan and Eagles season ticket holder for over 25 years.
Wherever Pat went he always wore his Eagles gear.
He followed in his father’s footsteps and drove a SEPTA bus for 42 years.
Oh my God the stories you would hear.
When he retired and didn’t work anymore
He pursued his dream and moved to the Shore.
To live out the rest of his life
With his two best friends
His dog Katie and Linda his wife.
He may be gone but will never be forgotten.
