MATTHEWS, IRENE ELIZABETH

MATTHEWS, IRENE ELIZABETH – 81, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away at home Thursday, November 26, 2015. She was born in Foreston, SC and later moved to New Jersey in 1956. She worked as a seamstress at Woodbine Children and Clothing Co. and as a Home Economist for the Rutgers – The State University of New Jersey Nutrition Education Program. She is survived by her children: Kenneth, Carl, Jacqueline, and Grace; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Carlton and her son Leon. Funeral services will be Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Gospel Church “Love Center”, 2209 Route 9 South, Whitesboro, NJ 08252. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Cape May County Veterans Cemetery. Condolences at www.radzieta.com
