MAJANE, FRANCIS P. III

MAJANE, FRANCIS P. III “FRANK” 62 – of Erma, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 surrounded by family and friends at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Cape May Court House, he was a lifetime resident of this area. He served in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller. Frank retired as an agent for the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office. He was previously employed by the Lower Township Police Department from March of 1974 until his retirement as a Lieutenant in August of 1995. He was a member of St. Raymond Church of St. John Neumann Parish, the North Wildwood Elks, and the Villas Fishing Club. He was also a former official for the Board 196 of Basketball Officials. His favorite pastime was spending time with the Coffee Clutch at Erma Deli and McDonald’s. Frank is survived by his wife, Dolores K. Majane; his two sons, Albert “AJ” Vanderlinden (Jill) and Michael P. Majane (Erin); his two grandchildren, Alec Vanderlinden and Andrew Vanderlinden; his brother, John Majane (Carol); and his sister, Frances Majane. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis P. Majane; his mother, Lorraine M. Lance Majane Trueland; and his stepfather, Edward Trueland. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
