MAGUIRE, JOSEPH HENRY, 82, of Sea Isle City, NJ, passed peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Joseph and Regina McKiernan Maguire, he moved here 17 years ago from Fox Chase, PA. After serving in the U.S. Army, he worked as a banker, and was a vice president of the auto lending department at PNC Bank in Center City Philadelphia.
Mr. Maguire was an active member of St. Joseph Church, where he served as an usher. He was also a member of the Sea Isle City Yacht Club, the OFAA, and the LuLu Country Club as an avid golfer. He played basketball with the Incarnation Catholic Club.
Mr. Maguire is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret “Peggy” Maguire; his four children, Timothy (Colleen) Maguire, Megan Maguire, Terrance Maguire, and Ryan (Christine) Maguire; and his six grandchildren, Shannon, Bridget, Grace, Sean, Avery, and Brynn.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 4308 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City with the funeral mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
