LETIZIO, BARTOLOMEO J. ”Barry”, age 87, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Sunday, September 20, 2015 at his home. Bartolomeo was born October 2, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA. He is the son of the late Samuel and Anna (Pesilillo) Letizio. Barry served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He was a Master Mechanic for 46 years retiring in 1989. Barry was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3546, the Msgr. Maroney Assembly 671, North Cape Seniors, and the Order of the Sons of Italy in America -Michelangelo Lodge 2343. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Mary Stow & Rosalie Unger. Barry is survived by his wife Mary (nee Prodoehl) Letizio, his children: Barry (Lisa) Letizio, Steven Letizio, Joan (Rich) Hepp, Anne Letizio, Michele Frank, & Thomas (Laureen) Letizio. Also surviving are his brother Samuel Letizio, 15 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St Raymond’s RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ 08251; where friends will be received from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
