KILSDONK, CAROLYN L. 81 – of Stone Harbor died on June 8th, 2013. She was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Louie and Pauline Limbaugh. She made her debut in Jacksonville, and graduated from Bryn Mawr College before moving to New York City and working for the United Nations and I.B.M.. In 1963 she married James J. Kilsdonk, who predeceased her on January 2, 2008. She later lived in Lower Merion, PA where she worked as a systems analyst in the insurance industry. She summered to Stone Harbor since 1989 before moving to the Shore permanently in 1994. Carolyn was very active in Stone Harbor organizations including the Garden Club, Realty Owners Assoc., the borough Museum, the Wetlands Institute, Lions Club, Seniors Club, Women’s Civic Club, and the Seven Mile Singers. She held leadership positions in most of the clubs she was involved with, and in 2003 the Chamber of Commerce awarded her the “Senior of the Year.” Carolyn will be loved and missed by her children: Edward J. (Julie Lehrman) Kilsdonk, Elizabeth K. (Dean) Molinar, and Paul M. (Jennifer Shouffler) Kilsdonk; and by her four grandchildren. Along with her husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Miles Limbaugh. A Memorial Service will be held in early July.
